Pursuant to the Decision made by the Lithuanian Government to declare quarantine on the entire territory of the Republic of Lithuania from 16 March 2020, 00:00, the Lithuanian Road Administration under the Ministry of Transport and Communications (later – the Road Administration) informs that it organises its work and provides customer services remotely, except where the functions (tasks) concerned must be performed at the workplace.

The Road Administration kindly requests to contact its staff remotely (if the type of activities allows it) via video conferences, phone calls, e-mail. Direct contact, which increases  the spread of the virus, shall be avoided as well.

Documents, inquiries, applications shall be sent by e-mail at lakd@lakd.lt . In case there are no possibilities to submit them in a digital form, physical documents may be submitted at the premises of the Road Administration (address: J. Basanavičiaus Street 36, Vilnius).

The Road Administration requests to observe the instructions of medical staff and institutions in charge. Special safety precautions shall be taken to reduce the spread of the virus: mass events and gatherings (but for exceptional cases) are prohibited; a distance of two metres shall be maintained; hands and surfaces shall be desinfected, etc.

The Road Administration reminds the information provided by the Ministry of Health that persons who have returned from foreign countries shall fall subject to 14 days’ isolation and regularly take temperature, observe their own health. Those who have any of COVID-19 (coronovirus infection) symptoms, i.e. run a temperature, cough, suffocate, shall immediately contact Coronavirus Hotline - 1808.
