Validity of Vignettes

There are 4 types of vignettes: daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. A road user is responsible for setting up the start date and time of an electronic vignette in the National Traffic Information System. An electronic vignette that is valid for a day expires after 24 hours counting from the start of the validity period of an electronic vignette; an electronic vignette that is valid for a week expires after 7 days inclusive counting from the start of the validity period of an electronic vignette; an electronic vignette that is valid for a month expires on the same day of the next month counting from the start of the validity period of an electronic vignette; an electronic vignette that is valid for one year is valid for a period 12 months counting from the start of the validity period of an electronic vignette.

Yearly paper vignettes are valid for a period of 12 months starting from the said date (for example, from 20 February 2018 to 19 February 2019 inclusive).
